Each year at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, the UK’s largest annual exhibition for intralogistics takes place.

IntraLogisteX currently attracts over 2000 visitors across sectors such as food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, transport and aerospace, and continues to grow in popularity year on year. Typically attended by key supply chain personnel such as Logistics Planning and Project Managers, over 40 conference sessions will be run to give practical insight into technological innovations.
Held over two days on 28th and 29th July, the event will showcase the latest solutions that help buyers improve their operational productivity and safety, cut costs and maximise space. Product categories include areas such as robotics, materials handling, automation, warehouse infrastructure and storage.
Steel Span will be exhibiting at the show for the first time on stand 220, as Steel Span Marketing Manager Hazel Lowe explains,
“Our buildings provide a tangible, versatile solution to alleviate storage challenges faced by the intralogistics industry. This event is a great opportunity to present our unique service and product to the market. The structural design and build materials are not only incredibly robust, but highly affordable to install, as well as being environmentally sustainable and economical to maintain. They are modern, airy and aesthetically superior to traditional alternatives. Steel Span’s turn-key service offers impressive value without a compromise in quality.”
The strength of the steel framework coupled with lightweight roofing material makes the buildings suitable for applications requiring extra-large clear span widths and eave heights such as aircraft hangars, sports halls, bulk material and heavy manufacturing. Owing to their flexible modular design, they can be easily installed, relocated, extended and dismantled. Available in 8-50 metres clear span width as standard with unlimited length, the roof design can be single or multi-hipped roof to allow additional capacity at height – perfect for extra racking or large process machinery. Tensioned PVC fabric is used to cover the roof and can also be used for the walling, unless metal sheet cladding is preferred.
